Hello Patrons of the Hackettstown Free Public Library!
April is here and with it, a dream of spring.
Get ready for an astronomical event on the 8th, when we will be in the path of a total solar eclipse! Ms. Rebecca is hosting a great program that day for kids to watch the eclipse and then make a cool craft. Click here to learn more.
But that doesn't mean teens and adults will be left without any way to take part in the solar celebration. We have eclipse glasses for free for anyone who wants them (while supplies last). Please come to the library to claim yours! After all, we won't have another total eclipse for about 20 years.
At the end of the month, on the 25th, 26th, and 27th, the Friends of the Hackettstown Library are hosting their annual Spring Used Book Sale. Gently used books will be available for purchase and all proceeds will go to benefit the library. You get a book that's new to you and the library gets a bit more money to buy new books. What a win-win!
If you want more information about (or want to join) the Friends, Click here.
Of course we have a full schedule of other great programs coming up this month so please check our calendar of events.
Come and visit us soon! We can’t wait to see you!
