Welcome to the warm days of July. This month we have some exciting new streaming and econtent services for you! Starting on July 1, we are offering access to Freegal, a music service that allows you unlimited streaming and 3 free music downloads per week. That music is yours to keep forever!
In addition, HFPL cardholders will have access to Kanopy. This is a streaming video service that has a catalog of over 31,000 titles. It includes movies, TV shows, documentaries, and kids stuff, from major studios including MGM, A24, and BBC.
Also, another offering we have for you is a new kids ebook service called Literacy Cloud from Room 2 Read. It features hundreds of children's ebooks in multiple languages and from all corners of the world. Take a look and see what you find!
Finally, don't forget to register for Summer Reading. It is never too late to join in the fun, no matter your age! Get credit for the reading you're already doing and win some cool prizes from wonderful sponsors.

Join A Group of Daring Detectives to Reveal the Killer of Our Space Station’s Honorable Captain!
Please wear your most comfortable Science-Fiction-Space-Travel-Detective-Adventurer clothing to this Murder Mystery Extravaganza! Consult your local library staff for suggestions, as well as the info sheet that you will receive via email after registering for the event.
Please be advised that you will receive a reminder email 3 days before the event. YOU MUST RSVP, even if you have already registered. If you fail to RSVP within 48 hours of receiving the reminder, your place in the game will be considered forfeit and may be passed on to the next interested attendee. Some of these stories are well known, such as the Lindbergh kidnapping, but others remain unknown. Please join us as historian and author Brian Armstrong showcases some of the most siliceous stories from New Jersey’s past, including New Jersey railroad accidents, mass murders and serial killers, plane crashes, organized crime murders, kidnapping/abduction crimes, political scandals, and New Jersey celebrity scandals.

It is a document that tells doctors and family how you want to be treated in the case that you cannot speak for yourself. Join Ann Marie Brown from Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice as she explains the ins and outs of this important document.

Canvas bag coloring will be open from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesday, June 24th, and 11am to 1pm on Monday, July 7th. You may come at any time within these hours to color your bag or take it home!
Bags will only be given to those who register for the program. Please sign up each child individually, and for only one day.
